Hi all!
It’s been a while since I uploaded my weekly memory pages! So here are the past four weeks all at once 🙂
I spent a lot of time sewing in week 2, getting orders out the door and preparing new items. BBC First started airing Midsomer Murders from the beginning and I got hooked on it! And our friends came over for a Fifa night!
In week 3 Mark and I went to see “Insidious The Last Key”. We are both horror fans, but it’s a difficult genre to find good movies in. This one was okayish.
The website www.twoeasels.com offers a 90-day brush lettering challenge. You can sign up on the website to receive them in your e-mail every week for free, or you purchase the complete set to download them instantly. I’ve done 21 days so far and it is so hard! I don’t think it’s a skill I’ll ever be good at.
Week 4 was dominated by another huge headache that lasted almost a week. And the sad news that my sister-in-laws family dog passed away at age 10.
I started reading the book “Better than Before” by Gretchen Rubin. It’s a book about habits, but also about different personality types. Gretchen hosts weekly podcast with her sister Elizabeth, called Happier. It touches on a lot of subjects in the book, and gives you tips for living a happier life. You can listen to it on www.gretchenrubin.com
And here’s last week! I received a surprise gift package from my dear friend in the USA, and of course my cat really enjoyed the box itself!
Mark and I went on an organised hike which led us from Schinveld to Gangelt, two small villages on the opposite side of the border between the Netherlands and Germany. My mother is from the Dutch village, and my father from the German one. During my childhood we spent a lot of time travelling between these villages to visit my grandparents. It started to snow as we left on the hike, which made it even better 🙂
And there was more Midsomer Murders and podcasts! Do you listen to podcasts?
Thanks for stopping by!
